Perfect North Indian meal for you

If you are a foodie, you will agree that one can never get enough of north Indian delights. They are a class-apart cuisine with flavoursome and aromatic dishes and of course it has a never-ending list. You may eventually get full because they use lots of ghee and butter in preparing their foods, but still there might be enough for you to try on the north-Indian menu. Yes, it’s that vast! But we thought, we will give you the perfect menu for a North-Indian meal, so that you get to taste the best out of all and you do not fear missing out (FOMO) on something.

Starters’ se Shuruaat: The Hara Bhara Panner kebab is creamy and flavoursome, a perfect start to a heavy meal. You will love the assortment of spices and goodness of veggies with an added taste of yoghurt in this kebab. Of course, for the non-veg lovers we have got Chicken Kalmi Kebab, marinated overnight, the chicken is coated with authentic spices and yoghurt and slightly fried till perfect. Serve both the kebabs piping hot with onions rings and green chutney! Oh, and make sure that you don’t eat them a lot, because you got to make place for the other dishes on the palate.

Punjabi ki pasand: Chole Bhature is the classic north-Indian recipe which we have been enjoying since ages. But, what if you get panner + chole + bhature together? Amazing, na? WE have got this Paneer Chole Bhature, with a soft paneer stuffing, these crispy bhaturas, served alongside spicy and masaledar chole, are a blessing! Chicken Handi, the one dish every chicken lover would go crazy about! Full of flavour and spices, this chicken handi will leave you wanting for more.

Lajawab Laccha Paratha: Punjabi food is totally incomplete without Laccha Paratha. Flaky and crispy, this flat-bread is a must-try with Paneer Butter Masala. Don’t forget to pour enough ghee on the Parantha to not to miss out on the divine Punjabi taste. They make a perfect main course meal when served together and you don’t need to rush to the restaurant when you crave this combo, we have got the recipe for you to make it at home.

Biryani Zabardast: There are always a bunch of people who would choose rice over paratha or roti any day! So, we don’t want them to be unhappy about not listing biryanis in a typical north Indian meal. There have been endless arguments on there’s nothing such as a ‘Veg Biryani’ but that is completely untrue. We bring you the recipe of this Jain Dum biryani, filled with rich flavours and spices and completely irresistible. But, but, but, Butter Chicken biryani will top the list when it comes to this cuisine. This Biryani is a treat to the non-veg lovers because this biryani bowl has everything you want. Serve them with vegetable raita for an enriching experience.

Meetha is a must: A meal without a dessert is incomplete; at least that’s what North-Indians feel! After this heavy meal which we have already listed, we have got to make some room for this super delicious dessert, Rice and Dates Kheer. This kheer is sweetened with dates and loaded with crunchy nuts making it a healthy choice. It is sure to satiate your dessert cravings without doing any harm to your diets. Also, if you are not a Kheer fan, you can go for this delicious crispy Jalebi recipe. Or, why not both if you are a dessert lover!

Chaas ya Lassi? This question might be the most difficult one for any Indian in all times. We can’t not ditch the other because both of them are our favourites. One has a spicy masala taste and the other has a sugary sweet one and both have our sweetheart dahi. But, to complete the meal now you have got to make this hard decision to choose between this Punjabi Lassi recipe and Masala Chaas. Or, try having tiny glasses of both to save you from so much thinking!

So, we have done our part, now you got to do yours! Try these super delicious recipes for a wholesome North-Indian meal. Be a master chef and wow your guests when you plan to invite them over!
