You don’t need to throw away leftover cooked rice from the days lunch instead turn them into these delicious trendy dishes with a little imagination and least effort. Try these quick recipes made with leftover rice to kick start innovating in the kitchen.

Leftover Khichadi Pakoda

Leftover Chana Chawal Burger

Cooked Rice Pancakes


Shopping list

1 packet of slice bread
1 packet of dried breadcrumbs
1 packet of mozzarella cheese
250 grams of refined flour
1 small bottle of sweet chilli sauce
4 burger buns
1 bulb of iceberg lettuce
1 small packet cheese slice
1 small packet of micro-greens
1 small packet of alfalfa
½ dozen carrots
1 spring onion bunch
1 small cabbage
1 packet of curd

For faster preparation

Make the khichadi balls. Keep the burger pattie ready. Keep the dough ready for the pancakes

How to go about it

Deep fry the khichadi balls. Then shallow fry the pattie and assemble the burger. Roll the pancakes and cook. serve
