By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Jun 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Salt Cuisine Middle Eastern,Lebanese Course Breads Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Lavash 2 cups + for dusting Refined flour (maida) a pinch Salt 1 teaspoon Castor sugar (caster sugar) 2 teaspoons Fresh parsley ,chopped 2 tablespoons Butter as required Oil to sprinkle Sumac Method Preheat oven to 180° C. Take 2 cups flour in a bowl, add salt, castor sugar and parsley and mix. Add sufficient water and knead into a soft dough. Add butter and knead again. Divide the dough into equal portions. Dust the worktop with some flour and roll out each portion into thin discs. Grease a baking tray with some oil, place the discs and dork with a fork. Brush some oil and sprinkle some sumac on top. Cut the discs into thin strips. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. Make more lavash with the remaining dough.
