Ingredients for Aam Ka Panna by Alyona Kapoor Recipe

  • Green mangoes 1 kilogram

  • Sugar 3 cups

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • saffron strands a pinch

  • Nutmeg powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Ice cubes as required

  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Method

Step 1

Wash and boil the mangoes and set aside to cool. Peel the mangoes; mash and strain the pulp.

Step 2

Blend together mango pulp, sugar, cardamom powder, saffron and nutmeg powder to a smooth paste.

Step 3

Pour spoonful of prepared mango paste into individual glasses. Add lots of ice cubes and top with chilled water.

Step 4

Garnish with mint sprigs and serve chilled.
