Ingredients for Anar Hummus Recipe

  • Chickpeas boiled and peeled 1 cup + for topping

  • Fresh Pomogranate Kernels 1/4 cup + for topping

  • Beetroot boiled and peeled 1/2 medium

  • Tahini (sesame paste) 2 1/2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

  • Extra virgin olive oil 1 teaspoon + for drizzling

Method

Step 1

Put boiled chickpeas and pomegranate kernels in a grinder jar. Add beetroot and sesame paste and grind.

Step 2

Add salt, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil and grind again till smooth.

Step 3

Transfer into a serving bowl, drizzle olive oil, top with pomegranate kernels and serve.
