Bacon Rolled Hot Dog Sausages rolled in bacon rashers, fried and served in hot dog rolls and sauces. This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bacon, Chicken Sausages Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Bacon Rolled Hot Dog as required Bacon 4 Chicken Sausages 4 Hot dog rolls 1 medium Onion 4 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 4-5 slices Pickled gherkin as required Mustard sauce as required Tomato sauce 4 tablespoons Cheese grated Method Slice onion into roundels. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non stick pan and saute the onion. Slit the rolls without cutting through. Add Worcestershire sauce to the onion and continue to saute. Roll each sausage with bacon rashers till they are completely covered. When the onions turn soft, transfer them into a bowl and set aside. Add the remaining oil to the same pan and cook the bacon-rolled sausages, turning them from time to time for even cooking. Roughly chop gherkin slices and put into a bowl. Keep the bread rolls, one by one, on the pan and let them get heated through. Put some onion rings into the slits of the rolls. Drizzle some mustard sauce and tomato sauce over them. Place a roll into each roll. Place some pickled gherkins on top and drizzle some more mustard sauce and tomato sauce on top. Sprinkle 1 tbsp cheese on each roll, drizzle some more tomato sauce over the cheese and serve immediately.
