By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Jul 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium raw Kerala bananas, Oil Cuisine Kerala Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Banana Chips - SK Khazana 3 Medium raw Kerala bananas to deep fry Oil to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder Method Trim the ends of the raw bananas, peel and slice off ½ inch from top of the bananas. Take salt and turmeric powder in a bowl, add ½ cup water and mix. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Use a mandolin slicer to slice bananas into thin chips directly into the hot oil. Add a spoonful of the salted turmeric water into the kadai. Fry the chips for 2 -3 minutes or till they are crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and let them cool down to room temperature.
