Ingredients for Besanwali Hari Mirchi Recipe

  • Gram flour (besan) 1 cup

  • Green chillies (Bhavnagri) 8-10

  • Salt to taste

  • Dried mango powder 2 teaspoons

  • Coriander powder 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon


Step 1

Dry roast gram flour till fragrant. Add dried mango powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well.

Step 2

Add ½ cup water and mix well. Switch off the heat and cool.

Step 3

Slit and deseed the chillies. Fill a portion of the gram flour mixture in the green chillies.

Step 4

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, place stuffed chillies and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Step 5

Serve hot.
