By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Jun 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Dark chocolate Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 41-50 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Brownie Strawberry Kabab 1 cup + for dusting Refined flour (maida) 1 cup Dark chocolate , melted 1/2 cup Cocoa powder 8 Strawberries , hulled 1 3/4 cups Castor sugar (caster sugar) 3 Eggs 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence 1 tablespoon Coffee decoction 1 cup Melted butter 4 tablespoons Hazelnuts , crushed for greasing Butter 30-32 Marshmallows 2-3 tablespoons Cream cheese 2-3 tablespoons Icing sugar for drizzling Chocolate sauce for garnishing Fresh mint sprigs Method Preheat the oven to 180° C. Put castor sugar in a bowl, add eggs, one by one, and beat with an electric beater till light and fluffy. Add vanilla essence, coffee decoction, melted butter and melted dark chocolate and beat till all the ingredients are well mixed. Sift together flour and cocoa powder into the bowl, add 2 tablespoons crushed hazelnuts and fold in well. Grease a baking tin with some butter and dust with some flour. Pour ¾ of the batter and arrange 7-8 marshmallows over it. Pour the remaining batter on top and spread covering the marshmallows. Tap, spread remaining hazelnuts and arrange 7-8 marshmallows on top. Place the tin on a baking tray. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. Remove from the oven, cool and demold. Cut the brownie into 16 equal pieces. Mix together cream cheese and icing sugar in another bowl and fill it in a piping bag. Insert 1 brownie piece, 1 marshmallow, 1 strawberry, 1 marshmallow and another brownie piece onto each skewer and place on a serving platter. Prepare 7 more skewers similarly and place them on the serving platter.
