By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Nov 2015 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Salt Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 3-3.30 hour Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Bun Puri 2½ cups + Refined flour (maida) to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder a pinch Baking soda 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar 1 Banana ripe 1/2 cup Yogurt for deep-frying Oil Method Combine refined flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, mashed banana and yogurt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and knead into a soft dough and set aside for 2-3 hours. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Divide dough into equal portions shaped into medium sized balls. Roll out into 4 inch round puris dusting with little flour. Dust off excess flour and deep-fry puris in hot oil, turning sides, till they puff up and golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
