By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Vanilla sponge cake, Dark chocolate Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 51-60 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cake Pops 1/2 eight- Vanilla sponge cake 1 1/2 cups Dark chocolate chopped 2-3 tablespoons Sugar syrup for decorating Colourful candied vermicelli Method Take dark chocolate in a bowl and melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Tear the cake into pieces, put it in a chopper jar and process to make crumbs. Transfer the crumbs into a bowl, add sugar syrup and mix. Divide the mixture into small equal portions and shape them into balls. Put them into individual paper cups, arrange them on a plate, prick a toothpick into each ball and keep the plate in the refrigerator to chill. Put some colourful candied vermicelli into empty paper cups. Dip each cake ball in the melted chocolate and keep each of them in a paper cup with the vermicelli. Sprinkle some more vermicelli over the pops, keep them in the refrigerator to set.
