Candied Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients list for Candied Pumpkin Seeds

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cup Pumpkin seeds
  • ½ cup Sesame seeds (til)
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon powder

Method

  1. Heat ½ cup water in a non-stick pan. Add sugar and cinnamon powder, stir and bring to a boil.
  2. Add sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds and cook till the liquid evaporates and leaves a syrup-like coating on the seeds, stirring continuously.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto a silicon sheet and separate the seeds with a fork. Set aside to cool for 15 minutes.
  4. Serve or store it in an air tight container.
