By Sanjeev Kapoor 13 Nov 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Small carrots, Walnuts Cuisine Fusion Course Dips Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Carrot Walnut Dip - SK Khazana 2-3 Small carrots peeled and cut into small cubes 1/2 cup Walnuts chopped 1 tablespoon Oil 3/4 cup Split red lentils (masoor dal) parboiled 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns crushed 6-7 Garlic cloves 1 tablespoon Tahini 1 1/2 teaspoons Coriander powder to taste Salt 1/4 cup Fresh parsley chopped 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 2 1/.2 tablespoons Olive oil 1 to garnish Fresh parsley sprig Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add carrots and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add walnuts and cook till carrots soften. Transfer the cooked mixture into a blender jar along with red lentils, black pepper, tahini, garlic cloves, coriander powder, salt, parsley, lemon juice and ½ tablespoon olive oil and grind. Add ¼ cup red lentils water and continue to grind.
