Sift maida, salt, baking powder and baking soda into the bowl. Add sugar and mix everything well. Add oil and mix. Add buttermilk and whisk till you get a smooth batter with no lumps. Add moong, cheese and red chilli powder and mix well. Heat a waffle iron and brush with a little oil. Pour a little batter into, close the lid and let it cook for 1 minute. Baste with a little oil and let it cook for another 30 seconds. Serve hot with a sauce of your choice.
