Ever wondered why the phrase “say cheese” is used just before a photograph is clicked? Simply because ‘cheese’ makes one smile! Not only the word but cheese as a food makes a lot of palates happy. It is an inexpensive, versatile and nourishing food. We have our very own Indian version as well as the ones made from soy milk that are even healthier. Whichever form, this is one food that is loved by one and all!

Ingredients for Cheese French Fries Recipe

  • Parmesan cheese powder 1 cup

  • Medium potatoes with skin 3-4

  • Oil for greasing

  • Corn flakes 1 cup

  • Fresh parsley chopped 2 tablespo to garnish

  • Paprika 1/2 teaspoon

  • Garlic Powder 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Olive oil 1/4 cup

  • Tomato ketchup to serve


Step 1

Cut potatoes into wedges.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with some oil.

Step 3

Grind cornflakes to a fine powder.

Step 4

Mix together parmesan cheese powder, cornflakes powder, parsley, paprika, garlic powder and salt in a bowl.

Step 5

Drizzle olive oil on potato wedges and mix well. Coat wedges with cornflakes mixture and arrange on greased tray.

Step 6

Put tray in the preheated oven and bake till the wedges are golden brown and well done.

Step 7

Garnish with parsley and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
