Ingredients list for Cheese and Paneer Tarlets

  • 3 teaspoons Cheese cubes
  • 3 teaspoons Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 8 slices Brown bread
  • as required Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Jalapenos chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Black olives
  • 1 tablespoon Cherry tomatoes halved
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper powder
  • a few Fresh basil leaves

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Trim edges of bread slices and flatten them with rolling pin. Place in muffin tray and put a glass bowl on each cavity. Remove bowls after few minutes.
  3. Drizzle little oil on slices and place bowls again and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
  4. Mix cheese cubes, paneer cubes, jalapenos, black olives, cherry tomatoes, salt, pepper powder and torn basil leaves in a bowl.
  5. Remove muffin tray from the oven and remove the glass bowls. Fill the bread cups with a spoonful of cheese mixture and put it back in oven and bake for 3-4 minutes more.
  6. Serve immediately.
