By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken breast Cuisine Bengali Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chicken Jhalfreizi - SK Khazana 300 grams Chicken breast boneless, cut into 1 inch pieces Method Take chicken pieces in a large bowl, add squeeze juice of ½ lemon, add ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp garam masala powder, ½ tbsp ginger-garlic paste and salt and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let their colour change. Add chopped onion, mix and sauté till golden brown. Add remaining ginger-garlic paste, mix well and saute till raw smells disappear. Add tomato, mix and sauté tomato turns pulpy. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, remaining turmeric powder and salt, mix well and saute for 1 minute. Add ½ cup water, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.Add yogurt, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add chicken, mix well and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Crush kasuri methi and add and mix well. Add cashewnut paste and mix well. Cook till chicken is done. Add sliced tomato, sliced onion and capsicum and mix well. Squeeze the juice of remaining ½ lemon and mix well. Add remaining garam masalapowder and mix well. Cook for 1 minute and take it off the heat.
