By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Dec 2017 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients String Beans, French Beans Cuisine Fusion Course Salads Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 150 grams string beans, blanched 150 grams French Beans, blanched Toasted white sesame seeds for sprinkling Toasted black sesame seeds for sprinkling For caramelized walnuts 150 grams walnut kernels 75 grams sugar 2 tablespoons honey Oil for deep-frying For dressing 6-8 pickled jalapeno 2 tablespoons red chilli sauce 1 tablespoon Schezwan chutney Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Heat 1 cup water in a non-stick pan, add walnut kernels and bring it to boil. Cut both the beans into long strips. Strain the water from walnut kernels. Heat ¼ cup water in the same non-stick pan, add sugar and honey and mix well. Add blanched walnut kernels and bring it to boil. Strain the nuts. To make dressing roughly chop pickled jalapenos. Mix red chilli sauce, schezwan chutney and jalapenos in bowl. Deep fry the walnut kernels in hot oil till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Mix both the beans in a large bowl, add the dressing and mix well. Arrange the beans on a serving platter, sprinkle white and black sesame seeds, top with caramelized walnuts and serve immediately.
