By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Khoya, Drinking chocolate Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Choco Jamun 2 1/2 cups Khoya 4 tablespoons Drinking chocolate 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder 1 tablespoon Drinking chocolate 2/3 teaspoon Baking powder 3 cups Water 5 cups Sugar 3 tablespoons Chocolate chips optional for frying Oil Method Grate fresh khoya in a bowl. Add sieved maida, cocoa powder, drinking chocolate, baking powder and mix well. Prepare the sugar syrup and keep it warm. Add water or milk to knead the khoya mixture. Make small softballs of even size. If you wish you can stuff these balls with the chocolate chips. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep-fry the ball till golden. Drain and soak them in the sugar syrup. Serve hot.
