Ingredients list for Choco Nut Rings- Sk Khazana

  • 200 grams Ready-made puff pastry dough
  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting
  • 4 tablespoons Chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 4 tablespoons Roasted chopped hazelnut
  • 1 Egg
  • Brown sugar for sprinkling

Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 180° C.
  2. Dust a little flour on the work top, place the pastry dough on it and roll into a thin sheet. Trim the edges of two sides and divide the sheet into 4 squares.
  3. Make 4 cuts at ½ inch distance from each other starting from the bottom on each square leaving about 1 inch space uncut on the top.
  4. Apply 1 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread on each uncut portion and spread it evenly. Sprinkle 1 tbsp chopped hazelnut on it.
  5. Start rolling from the uncut portion of the square to form a log. Bring the two ends together to shape it like a ring.
  6. Place them on a greased baking tray. Break in an egg in a small bowl and whisk it with a fork.
  7. Brush egg on the rings and sprinkle brown sugar. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Take it off the oven, arrange them on a serving plate and serve warm.
