Ingredients list for Chocolate Brownie Cookies
- 1/4 cup Dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
- 1 cup Refined flour
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 2-3 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Walnuts chopped
- 1 cup Mixed chocolate chips
Method
- Mix together butter and chocolate chips in a bowl and melt in the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove from microwave and mix till smooth.
- Break eggs in a mixing bowl and beat with an electric beater till fluffy. Add vanilla essence and whisk. Add castor sugar and cream till light. Add melted chocolate and beat well.
- Sift together refined flour, cornflour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt into the mixture and fold in till well incorporated.
- Add walnuts and mixed chocolate chips and fold in again. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180º C. Line a baking tray with a parchment paper.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and place them on the lined tray keeping a little distance between each. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool. Serve with milk.
