Ingredients for Chocolate Nutty Banana Recipe

  • Dark chocolate chopped 1 cup

  • Walnuts kernels roasted 1/2 cup

  • Peanuts roasted 1/4 cup

  • Small ripe (elaichi) bananas 8

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • White sesame seeds (til) toasted 2 tablespoons

  • Vanilla ice cream as required


Step 1

Heat butter in a non-stick pan and let it melt.

Step 2

Put walnuts and peanuts in a mixer jar.

Step 3

Add chocolate to the pan and stir till the chocolate melts. Switch off heat and transfer into a bowl.

Step 4

Crush the nuts finely and transfer into another bowl. Peel bananas.

Step 5

Add sesame seeds to crushed nuts and mix well. Spread this mixture on a plate.

Step 6

Place a silicon sheet on another plate.

Step 7

Dip bananas in the butter-chocolate mixture, coat with crushed nut-sesame mixture and place on the silicon sheet. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or till set.

Step 8

Halve each banana diagonally and serve over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
