Chocolate Sticks with Strawberry Sauce Chocolate sticks rolled in filo pastry sheets, deep-fried and served with strawberry sauce. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Jul 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Dark chocolate, Filo pastry sheets Cuisine Fusion, , , , Course Desserts Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Chocolate Sticks with Strawberry Sauce 8 Dark chocolate sticks 24 Filo pastry sheets for garnishing Strawberries 8-10 + 3/4 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) Juice of 2 lemons for deep-frying Oil Method Roughly chop strawberries and place them in a non-stick pan and heat. Add castor sugar and lemon juice. Mix well and cook till strawberries become pulpy. Switch off the heat and cool to room temperature. Make sets of 3 filo pastry sheets placed one on top of the other. Put a chocolate stick on each set, apply water on the edges and roll tightly. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chocolate sticks till golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Puree the strawberry sauce and strain. Cut 1 strawberry into slices and place them on a serving plate making a design. Stack the chocolate sticks and drizzle strawberry sauce on top.
