Ingredients list for Chutney Dosa

  • 3 cup Dosa Batter
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • 1/4 cup Fresh mint leaves chopped
  • 1/2 cup Fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 inch piece Ginger chopped
  • 1 Green chilli chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Pomegranate seeds (anardana)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black salt (kala namak)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Method

  1. Put coriander and mint leaves into a mixer jar.
  2. Chop ginger and green chilli and add along with pomegranate seeds, black salt and salt and grind to a smooth chutney.
  3. Add yogurt and grind again. Add to dosa batter and mix well.
  4. Heat a non stick dosa tawa. Pour a ladle of dosa batter and spread to round dosa.
  5. Increase heat, drizzle oil all around and cook, turning sides, till it becomes golden and crisp on both sides. Serve hot.
