By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Oct 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Activated yeast Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 2-2.30 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Cinnamon Rolls-SK Khazana 2 cups Refined flour (maida) sifted 1 tablespoon Activated yeast 2 tablespoons Castor sugar 2 tablespo for greasing Melted butter 1 tablespoon Sour cream 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence to taste Salt 1 Egg to sprinkle Pistachio powder For topping Walnuts chopped For topping Raisins for brushi Milk Filling 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (dalchini) powder 1 cup Brown sugar 1 teaspoon Nutmeg (jaiphal) powder Method Mix together flour, yeast, castor sugar, butter, sour cream, vanilla essence, salt and egg in a bowl. Knead into a soft dough and set aside to prove. Grease a glass baking dish with some butter. To make the filling, mix together brown sugar, nutmeg powder and cinnamon powder in another bowl. Knock back the dough, divide into equal portions and roll out into sheets. Brush some melted butter on top. Sprinkle a portion of filling and some pistachio powder, top with some walnuts and some raisins. Roll into cylinders and cut into thick slices. Arrange the slices in the greased dish, cover with a damp muslin cloth and set in a warm place for 1½ hours. Preheat the oven at 180˚C. Brush the rolls with some milk, put the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or till golden brown.
