Ingredients list for Coconut roll
- 3 cups Scraped coconut
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 Green cardamom
- 3 tablespoons + for deep frying Oil
Method
- Heat three tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add scraped coconut, sugar and cardamoms and cook for ten minutes.
- Remove and set aside to cool.
- Place a spoonful of the coconut mixture on each sheet and roll tightly.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Fry the roll until it becomes golden brown.
- Serve crispy rolls with tea.
