Cream Cheese Salami

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken salami slices
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes + for garnish
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnish
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cream
  • Green olives for garnish

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add chicken salami and cook till evenly golden brown on both the sides. Take it off the heat and set aside. 
  2. In a bowl, add cream cheese, crushed black peppercorns, red chilli flakes, garlic, chopped coriander leaves, salt and cream. Mix well. 
  3. Place a portion of cream cheese mixture in the centre of each salami slice, fold into half and skewer onto toothpicks. Transfer to a serving plate.
  4. Sprinkle dried red chilli flakes, chopped coriander and garnish with olives. Serve immediately.
