Crispy Mustard Chicken Boneless chicken pieces marinated with mustard sauce, coated with breadcrumbs and eggs, deep-fried and served with mustard sauce. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken breasts, Mustard paste Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Crispy Mustard Chicken 2 Chicken breasts cut into 2 inch pieces 2-3 tablespoons Mustard paste kasundi ¼ cup Butter for garnishing Fresh coriander leaves chopped, 1 tablespoon + to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon Paprika ½ teaspoon Red chilli flakes to taste Crushed black peppercorns 1 Lemon 2 Eggs for deep-frying Oil 1 cup Fresh bread crumbs Method Heat butter in a non-stick pan and cook till it browns. Add kasundi mustard mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add coriander leaves and mix. Add salt, mix and cook for 30 seconds. This is mustard sauce. Take chicken in a bowl. Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, paprika, chili flakes, crushed peppercorns and lemon juice and mix. Add 1 tablespoon mustard sauce and mix well. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Beat eggs in another bowl. Spread breadcrumbs on a plate. Coat each marinated chicken piece with bread crumbs. Dip in beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs again. Deep-fry the chicken pieces in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Place fried chicken pieces on a serving platter, drizzle remaining mustard sauce on top and garnish with coriander leaves.
