Cronut Sandwich Deep-fried cronuts halved, topped with whipped cream, green and black grapes, fresh pomegranate pearls and served drizzled with strawberry sauce. Cut into roundels with a medium sized donut cutter and discard the centre round to create a hole. These are cronuts. Dust a baking tray with some flour, place the cronuts on it and set aside in a warm place for 10-15 minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Deep-fry cronuts till golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Halve the cronuts horizontally. Pipe out whipped cream on the base halves. Top with halved green grapes and black grapes and pomegranate pearls.
