This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Nov 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless chicken, Curry powder Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Curried Chicken Pita Sandwich 400 grams Boneless chicken cut into thick strips 1 tablespoon Curry powder 2 Pita breads 2 tablespoon Oil 1 medium Medium onion chopped 10-12 Garlic cloves chopped 1/2 cup Chicken stock 3 teaspoons Chilli sauce 2 Fresh thyme sprigs to taste Salt 5-6 Spring onion bulbs 4 tablespoons Yogurt Method Heat a non-stick pan and heat pita breads in it. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add chicken and curry powder and mix. Add chicken stock, mix and cook and 2 minutes. Add chilli sauce and thyme and mix. Add salt and mix. Reduce heat and cook till chicken is done. Halve pita breads and open out the pockets. Roughly slice spring onion bulbs. Stuff chicken equally into pita pockets. Drizzle 1 tbsp yogurt, a few drops of chilli sauce and sprinkle a few spring onion slices over the chicken in each pocket and serve immediately.
