Ingredients for Dark Chocolate Cake in a Jar - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Dark chocolate chopped 200 grams

  • Cream hot 1 cup

  • Rice crispies 1/2 cup

  • Whipped cream 1 cup

  • Readymade chocolate sponge cake 1

  • Hazelnuts chopped as required

  • Fresh red cherries as required


Step 1

Take dark chocolate in a bowl, pour hot cream and mix well till the chocolate melts completely. Transfer half of this mixture into a pouring jar and set aside.

Step 2

Add rice crispies to the remaining chocolate mixture and mix well.

Step 3

Transfer the chocolate from the pouring jar into another bowl. Add whipped cream and fold in gently. Transfer this mixture into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.

Step 4

Cut out medium sized roundels from chocolate sponge with a cookie cutter.

Step 5

Put one cake roundel at the base of each jar, top it with some chocolate and rice crispy mixture and hazelnuts. Pipe out chocolate-whipped cream mixture over. Place another cake roundel on top and repeat these layers 2 more times.

Step 6

Garnish with red cherries and serve immediately.
