By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Dark chocolate, Dark chocolate biscuits Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 2-2.30 hour Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Dark Chocolate Mud Pie 1 cup Dark chocolate chopped 6-7 Dark chocolate biscuits for greasing Butter ½ cup + 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence ½ cup Golden syrup ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) 3 Eggs Chocolate melted some Whipped cream some Method Preheat oven to 180ºC. Crush biscuits coarsely. Take a spring bottom pie tin, layer it with the biscuit mixture and level it out while pressing with spoon. Place the pie tin in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Melt butter,chocolate, vanilla essence and golden syrup on a double-boiler and mix till well incorporated. Take the melted chocolate-butter mixture bowl off the boiler, add castor sugar and eggs, making sure that the chocolate is not too hot, and whisk well. Pour the chocolate mixture over the baked biscuit base. Place the mould on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, cool and demould. Drizzle some melted chocolate on top and spread. Pipe some whipped cream rosettes on top and serve.
