By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Mar 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Walnuts, Yogurt Cuisine Kashmiri Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Doon Chetin 1/2 cup Walnuts 1/2 teaspoon Yogurt 1 cup Yogurt whisked 1 large Onion finely chopped 2 Green chillies finely chopped a pinch Asafoetida to taste Salt for garnish Fresh mint leaves Method Heat one cup of water in a pan, add walnuts and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and allow to cook for two to three minutes. Drain and discard the water. Grind the walnuts to a smooth paste. Transfer into a bowl. Add red chilli powder, whisked yogurt, chopped onion, chopped green chillies, asafoetida and salt. Mix well. Serve garnished with mint leaves.
