Eggless Gulab Jamun Custard This is specially for the vegetarians – gulab jamuns topped with eggless custard. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Gulab jamuns, Custard powder Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Eggless Gulab Jamun Custard as required Gulab jamuns halved 2-3 tablespoons Custard powder 3-4 tablespoons Milk 2 cups + 1 tablespoon Castor sugar (caster sugar) as required Pistachios chopped Method Heat milk in a small deep non-stick pan and bring to boil. Add castor sugar and mix well. Take custard powder in a bowl. Add 3-4 tablespoons milk, mix well, add to boiling milk, whisk well and cook till it thickens. Remove from heat and keep warm. Line individual short glasses with halved gulab jamuns, put some pistachios and pour some custard mixture on top. Repeat the process till all ingredients are used. Insert a gulab jamun in a toothpick. Top with some pistachios and place the toothpick.
