By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fish fillets, Crushed black peppercorns Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non-Veg Ingredients 500 grams fish fillets cut into 2-inch pieces Crushed black peppercorns to taste Salt to taste 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste ½ lemon 2 eggs Refined flour for coating Dried breadcrumbs for coating Oil for deep-frying Fresh parsley chopped for garnish Tartar sauce to serve Method Take the fish pieces in a large bowl, and add crushed black peppercorns, salt and ginger-garlic paste. Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into it and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, break 2 eggs into another bowl. Add salt and crushed black peppercorns and whisk well with a fork. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Spread refined flour on one plate and dried breadcrumbs on another plate. Coat each fish piece with flour, dip in the egg mixture and roll in the breadcrumbs. Slide the fish pieces, a few at a time, into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
