Ingredients list for Fish Patties-SK Khazana

  • 250 grams Boneless fish cut into cubes and boiled
  • 3 Large potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to shallow fry Oil
  • to serve Onion rings
  • to serve Lemon wedges

Method

  1. Put fish pieces in a bowl. Add potatoes, ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, green chillies and salt, mash and mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties and keep them on a greased plate.
  3. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Place the patties on it and drizzle some oil on each of them.
  4. Shallow-fry, turning sides, till evenly golden brown on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.
