By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Aug 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Salt Cuisine French Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 7-8 hour Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients 3 large wafer potatoes Salt to taste Oil to deep fry Tomato ketchup to serve Method Peel potatoes and thickly slice them. Cut each slice into 2 inch fingers. Boil sufficient water in a non-stick deep pan, add salt and add the potato fingers and cook them till ¾ done. Drain on absorbent paper. Set aside to cool down to room temperature. Gently transfer into a zip-lock bag, seal and freeze. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep-fry the potato fingers till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle salt on top of the French fries and toss gently.
