By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Aug 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bread loaf, Milk Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for French Toast Pudding 1 medium Bread loaf uncut 2 cups Milk 2 tablespoons Melted butter to sprinkle Cinnamon powder ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence 4 Eggs ¼ cup Raisins for dusting Icing sugar Method Preheat oven at 180° C. Cut the bread loaf into large cubes, place in a baking tray, drizzle butter and sprinkle cinnamon powder and toast in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes. Heat milk in a non-stick pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add castor sugar and vanilla essence and mix. Add eggs, one at time, and whisk well. Strain into a bowl. Spread the toasted bread cubes in a glass baking dish. Pour the milk-egg mixture over, sprinkle raisins and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
