Ingredients list for Fruit Bar
- 1 cup Condensed milk
- 1/3 cup + to grease Unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1/3 cup Milk
- 1 1/4 cups Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 teaspoon Soda bicarbonate
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1/3 cup Candied fruits
Method
- Preheat the oven at 150º C. Whisk condensed milk, sugar and butter together until smooth.
- Add milk and mix well. Sift refined flour with baking soda and baking powder into a bowl.
- Add this mixture gradually to the condensed milk mixture, beating well after each addition.
- Add vanilla essence. Mix candied fruits with one tablespoon of refined flour and add to the cake mixture. Beat well until light and fluffy.
- Grease the cake tin with butter and transfer the cake mixture into this tin.

Bake in the preheated oven for forty-forty five minutes.
Demould and keep it on a wire rack to cool. Serve sliced.
