By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Salt Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Funnel Cake with Salt and Chocolate 1 cup Refined flour (maida) a pinch Salt 2 teaspoons + ½ cup Dark chocolate chopped 1 cup Milk 1 Egg 2 teaspoons Baking powder 2 tablespoons Whisky ½ cup Fresh cream 2 tablespoons Butter for deep-frying Oil Method Take milk in a bowl. Break egg into it. Add baking powder, whisky, 2 teaspoons salt and flour and whisk well to make a smooth batter. Heat cream in a non-stick pan. Add butter and mix. Add a pinch salt and bring the mixture to boil. Add chocolate and mix till it melts. This is chocolate sauce. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Fill a squeezy bottle with the flour mixture. Squeeze the batter directly into hot oil in the shape of medium sized spiral discs and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Fill a piping bag with chocolate sauce.
