Ingredients for Ginger Biscuit Pudding Recipe

  • Ginger Biscuits 20-22

  • Instant Coffee Powder

  • Instant coffee powder 2 teaspoons

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Dark cooking chocolate grated 1 1/2 cups

  • Whipped cream for icing

  • Chocolate vermicelli for garnish

  • Walnuts chopped for garnish

Method

Step 1

Add coffee powder to 1½ cups lukewarm water to make a decoction.

Step 2

Dip the ginger biscuits in the decoction and place them vertically one after the other in a square baking dish to resemble a log. Make two such logs.

Step 3

To make the chocolate sauce, heat milk in a non stick pan. Add sugar, grated chocolate and mix well.Pour this sauce over the biscuits and set aside for some time to cool in the refrigerator.

Step 4

Fill whipped cream in a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and pipe over the biscuits.

Step 5

Sprinkle chocolate vermicelli over the cream portion and walnuts elsewhere and serve immediately.
