By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Jun 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken , Light green chillies Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 2.30-3 hour Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Green Chilli Chicken 750 grams Chicken , cut into 1 inch pieces on the bone 1 cup + to garnish Light green chillies 1/2 cup Dark green chillies 1/4 cup Ginger-garlic-coriander leaves-green chilli paste 2 tablespoons Oil 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder Method Take chicken pieces in a bowl, add ginger-garlic-coriander leaves-green chilli paste, mix and set aside to marinate for 2-3 hours. Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, and once they change color, add light green chillies, dark green chillies and salt, mix, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the marinated chicken and mix well. Add turmeric powder and a little salt, mix well and cook on high heats for 5 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 20-25 minutes or till fully done.
