By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sprouted green gram (moong), Fresh moong greens Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 3 tablespoons sprouted green moong beans Fresh green moong greens as required 1 large beetroot, boiled and grated 1 medium potato, boiled and grated 2 tablespoons chopped onion Salt to taste ¼ teaspoon chaat masala A pinch of red chilli powder 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1½ tablespoons corn flour + for dusting Oil for shallow frying Method In a large bowl, add beetroot, sprouted moong, potato, onion, salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder, lemon juice and corn flour. Mix till well combined. Divide the mixture into lemon sized potions and shape them into tikkis. Dust a little corn flour on top and set aside. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, and shallow fry the tikkis till lightly golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
