Green Pea Hummus

Thick creamy hummus made with fresh green peas. It goes perfect with pita bread. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

Ingredients list for Green Pea Hummus

  • 1 cup Green peas , blanched
  • 2 tablespoons Tahini
  • 5-6 cloves Garlic
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup + for drizzling Olive oil
  • to sprinkle Paprika powder
  • a few Black olive slices
  • to serve Pita bread

Method

  1. Put green peas in a blender jar, add tahini, garlic cloves, salt, lemon juice, olive oil and a little water and blend into a smooth paste.
  2. Transfer paste into a serving dish, drizzle some olive oil on top, sprinkle some paprika powder and garnish with olives.
  3. Serve as a dip with grilled pita bread.
