How to make Grilled Paneer Sandwich -

Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Grilled Paneer Sandwich Recipe

  • Cottage cheese (paneer) cut into 4 thick slabs 200 grams

  • White bread slices 8

  • Butter as required

  • Green chutney 4 tablespoons

  • Aloo bhaji 4 tablespoons

  • Mayonnaise 4 tablespoons

  • Tomato slices 4

  • Onion slices 4

Method

Step 1

Heat a sandwich griller.

Step 2

Apply some butter on one side of all the bread slices. Spread 1 tablespoon green chutney on all of them. Spread 1 tablespoon aloo bhaji on 4 slices.

Step 3

Place a cottage cheese slab over the aloo bhaji and spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on them. Top each with a tomato and onion slice and cover with the remaining bread slices, chutney side facing downwards.

Step 4

Grease the griller with some butter. Apply some more butter on the sandwiches, place them, one at a time, on the griller, cover and grill till grill marks appear on both the sides.

Step 5

Cut into triangles, place on serving plates and serve hot with some salad.
