Ingredients for Grilled Pear with Rose Rabdi Recipe

  • Pears 3-4

  • Rabdi 3 tablespoons

  • Candied rose petals (gulkand) 2 tablespoons

  • Rabdi 2 cups

  • Balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup

  • Brown sugar 1/4 cup

Method

Step 1

Heat a non-stick grill pan. Peel and halve pears, remove seeds and place the pears in the grill pan, flat side facing down and grill till golden.

Step 2

Mix together rose syrup, candied rose petals and rabdi in a bowl and set aside.

Step 3

Heat balsamic vinegar in a non-stick pan, add brown sugar and cook till the mixture reduces to half of its original quantity. Add pears and coat them well with the mixture.

Step 4

Transfer the pears on a serving plate. Top it with the rose rabdi and serve.
