Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Guava Chilli Ice Cream Recipe

  • Pink guavas chopped 6-8

  • Tata Sampann Chilli Powder 1 teaspoon

  • Condensed milk 1 cup

  • Castor sugar 3-4 teaspoons

  • Full cream milk powder 1 cup

  • Fresh cream 1 cup

Method

Step 1

Transfer Tata Sampann Chilli Powder in salt shaker and set aside.

Step 2

Blend together guavas, condensed milk and castor sugar to a fine puree. Transfer into a bowl.

Step 3

Add milk powder and cream and whisk well. Transfer into an airtight container and freeze for 6-8 hours.

Step 4

Scoop into serving bowls, sprinkle Tata Sampann Chilli Powder over the scoops and serve immediately.
