Ingredients list for Haldi aur Pyaz ka Raita

  • 1/2 teaspoon Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Medium onion
  • 1 1/2 cups Yogurt
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ghee
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • to garnish Roasted cumin powder
  • to garnish Fresh coriander sprig

Method

  1. Take yogurt in a bowl. Chop onion and add it to the yogurt. Add salt and red chilli powder and mix well.
  2. For the tempering, heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add garlic and cumin seeds, saute till light golden brown.
  3. Add Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder, mix well and saute for ½ minute. Add the tempering to the yogurt mixture and mix well.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle roasted cumin powder, garnish with coriander sprig and serve.
