Ingredients list for Honeycomb
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 1 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- for greasing Butter
- 2 tablespoons Corn syrup
- 1½ teaspoon Baking soda
- as required Dark chocolate melted
Method
- Line an aluminum tray with aluminum foil and grease with some butter.
- Heat castor sugar in a non-stick pan. Add some water, honey and corn syrup, mix and cook till sugar caramelizes.
- Add baking soda and mix well. Transfer the mixture into the baking tin, spread evenly and set aside to cool. Refrigerate till set.
- Demould and break into pieces.
- Dip half of the pieces into melted dark chocolate and place on a plate. Place the remaining on the plate.
- Fill a piping bag with some melted chocolate and pipe over the honeycomb pieces.
- Serve.
