By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Maize flour (makai ka atta), Refined flour (maia) Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 1 cup maize flour (makai ka atta) 1 cup refined flour (maida) ½ teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste 1 tablespoon dal masala Oil for drizzling + for deep frying Sour cream to serve Method In a bowl, add maize flour and refined flour. Add turmeric powder, salt, dal masala and mix well. Make a well in the centre and add sufficient water, knead to semi-soft dough. Drizzle a little oil on the worktop, take a portion of the dough and shape it into a ball and slightly flatten it. Place the flatten dough on the greased worktop and roll it into a thin sheet. Prick with fork all over the sheet. Trim the sides to form a rectangular sheet, discard the edges and cut into triangles. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep fry till golden and crisp.
